Peel & Stick Wallpaper Hanging Instructions

SUPPLIES
Pencil
Tape measure
Level/Straight Edge
Plastic Smoothing Tool
Utility Knife

1. PREP YOUR WALLS
Prepare your walls and/or flat surfaces. All hanging surfaces must be clean, smooth, dry and free of mold. We recommend all surfaces to be primed or painted at least 2 weeks in advance.

2. MEASURE
Measure and draw vertical lines on your wall 25IN apart across the width of the wall making sure they are plumb. These lines will act as guides for lining up wallpaper and making sure it is straight.

3. APPLY
Starting at the top, peel off about 12IN of your wallpaper backing. Apply wallpaper to the wall making sure to leave a few inches of excess material at the ceiling. Align the panel with your plumb line. Once the material is in place, use a plastic smoothing tool to remove any air bubbles. Work your way down the wall removing the backing and smoothing the paper. If you need to readjust, gently pull the paper up and reapply.

4. TRIM
Using a straight edge, trim your excess wallpaper at the top and bottom with a utility knife. Make sure you are changing the blade frequently.

5. APPLYING ADDITIONAL PANELS
Match up the repeat on the wallpaper to the previous panel. Each panel has a .5IN overlap. Far edge of the second panel will align with the plumb line drawn every 25IN. Once up, smooth out bubbles and trim excess at top and bottom.

6. DOUBLE CUT
Where the wallpaper overlaps, use a straight edge to cut down the center of the overlapping panels. Leave the knife against the wall and slide the straight edge down as you continue to cut through both wallpapers. Then remove the excess strips of wallpaper from behind each panel. Use plastic smoothing tool to smooth seam.

7. REPEAT STEPS 3-6
